Partial Eclipse

Partial eclipse of the sun as seen from my back garden in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. After the first few shots I used a 9 stop ND filter as I just wanted the silhouette effect - and it protected my eyes and the camera's sensor. I used "live mode" throughout with the camera on a tripod and a Hahnel remote control. Canon EOS 60D with Canon 75-300mm L zoom. Not fantastic shots but at least the cloud relented so it was good practice for the next one of this magnitude in 2027(!)
